Trip Outline:

Day 1

Arrival Zagreb – Zadar

Welcome to The city of Zagreb, capital of Croatia, on the historic and political threshold between East and West, illustrates both the continental and Mediterranean spirit of the nation it spearheads. Sitting at one of its Viennesestyle cafés, strolling leisurely around its streets and promenading through its parks, it’s like you’re starting out on a love affair with this city and its people.

Zadar's nightlife is neither sceney nor divided into old and young, so in most places you'll find an unpretentious mix of people.

Day 2

Zadar Walking tour - We start the day by walking around Zadar’s historic centre with free Maraschino liqueur and Pag Cheese tasting. If there is a breeze, we start at the sea organ on the promenade, an art installation consisting of a series of pipes cut into the promenade. Here, you can sit on the white stone steps listening to the symphony of nature created by the action of waves on the underwater pipes. The same artist also created the Monument to the Sun, a large disc of solar-powered cells that becomes a multi-coloured disco ball as the sun sets. More classical sights include the Roman forum, of which only a few columns and an altar remain. Stones from here were used to build the neighbouring rotunda of 9th-century St Donatus Church and are clearly visible. Zadar's 12th-century cathedral has three beautiful portals that would not look out of place in Tuscany, and a bell-tower to climb. Close to an impressive city gate, the church of St Simeon contains a beautifully crafted silver reliquary.

Day 3

Today, after breakfast, your tour guide and driver will take you towards Plitvice Lakes National Park.

After approximately1.5 hours of driving you will reach Plitvice Lakes, a specific geological and hydrogeological phenomenon of karst, with 16 bigger and few smaller lakes, gradually lined up, separated by barriers.

The cascading waterfalls, the aquamarine virgin lakes surrounded by dense, thick forests… Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. Feast your eyes on one of the most beautiful places in the world! UNESCO has declared it with all rights as the World's natural inheritance.

Day 4

Pag Island looks more like an island in Mars than in Earth. The starkness of almost zero vegetation in the coast makes it stunningly surreal.

Pag is known for its world famous cheese, this small little island competes with the best cheese making countries in the world and still comes out winning awards. Today, we will take for a interesting tour of the largest manufacturers as well as cheese sampling.

Day 5

Zadar – Zagreb

After Breakfast proceed from Zadar to Zagreb. Welcome to Zagreb! Be like Zagrebee. The cosmopolitan buzz of Zagreb will soon strike you. Everything is accessible on foot – from your hotel to the theatre, wandering around the old Upper Town or through the bustling streets of the more modern Lower Town, which has not lost an ounce of its charm despite the eternal march of time. Venture out and let the moment take hold. There is something special about the rustle of leaves as you stroll through the autumn colours of downtown Zrinjevac Park.

Day 6
